Death Note. A Transmedia Narrative?

Once there was only novels. Then came the television. Then the internet. Yadayadayda.

In the modern world in which we consume media, it is not uncommon for series of television programs, movies or books to be spread across multiple media platform. This leads us to the term of “Transmedia Narratives“.

There is no longer only one way to enter a story world. There are multiple pathways, of which are referred to as interfaces, allowing audiences to experience the same story differently from each other. This allows for different perspectives and opinions in regards to the text being analysed.
